MY FRIENDS!

This is where I show you some of the stuff done by people I know and admire.
If this is your first experience with 'Nik Danger Mouse' I suggest you check out my links to see stuff done by me. It is of a far greater quality than anything you'll see here.
They may be my friends but these people are amatures and plebeians at best...let's be fair.
I must be brief as the mother ship has landed and me and the Parliament crew must strap on our wigs and get dirty on the planet with the pyramids.
DANGER! aka nik broadbridge, aka the mighty mighty a.s.h, aka ash, aka nik danger mouse...dope m.c, left wing hippie eater...

BON!

This is a picture of me and my friend Bon warming up to play at The Tea Club.
(That's him on the right.) I first started hanging out with Bon when he was 13. I was much older and was quite annoyed to discover he was a better guitarist than me, and probably still is.
Bon is a sick dude and a very good rapper. He can play almost any instrument and if he can't it's because he hasn't seen it yet. He lives in Brogers and I can walk to his house from mine in about one and a quarter hours. Bon spends most of his time playing and recording music, winning computer games, smoking dope and hatching evil plans.

We have both been in the following bands: 'Venn', 'Split Fingers 3' and 'The B.C.O.G'
This is a sick photo Bon took the other day at his house.

MAHESH!

Mahesh has been a great friend of mine ever since back in about 1997 when he let me join his band. (What a guy.)
He has since joined me on many a psychodelic adventure both on and off the stage. He started singing in 'Frontside' back when he was a wee dude of about fourteen, and now he's living in Sydney and fronting the awesome band 'Lifefarce'.That's him in the front centre.
We have both been in the following bands together: 'Plebeian' and 'Metaphorthesis'.
Here is a link to a page on 'Lifefarce'.

MATTY!

Matty is a fantastic bass player and I discovered him playing back in the day with a band called 'Doorbitch'.
Since then he has moved to Sydney and is working, amoung other things, with animation and film sound tracks.
Matty always will be one of those musicians who is pushing the border line of what we consider possible in the realms of entertainment. He is either ahead of his time or a compleate loony. I think he may be both.
There is a link here to a page of his and you will probably hear him playing bass, singing, playing keyboards, guitar, kazoo, drum machines and anything else he can get his hands on. Truely the one man band!

Matty and I have both played in the following bands: 'Naddy' and
'The Marlborough Project'.

POPPY!

Poppy is my wife who lives with me, a goat and our two dogs at the bottom of a mountain on the south coast.
She is a fantastic painter and photographer and can play any instrument she can get a hold of, even better if shes never played it before.
Poppy also does drawings in lead and ink, and unlike me is not afraid of a few colours as well.
Poppy is one of those natural artists who does stuff just cause she feels like it. In a very short time Poppy will be giving birth to our first child, so check here soon for a link to the new baby blog.

FOONDI!

Foondi is a great fun loving dude. He lives on the south coast with his family and works in bush regeneration while composing awesome blues, punk and hiphop music. (Amoung other styles)
His influences are as varied as the sounds that come out of his studio.
There is a link here to his page and I recomend a listen. If you're lucky you may even hear some stuff recorded with yours truely.

CHRIS!

All I can tell you about Chris is that she is a very accomplished writer and a genuinely sweet person. I recently went to the launch of her book 'Love Poems' and was glad to hear an old fashioned poetry reading.
Just like the old days eh? Except in the old days I wasn't there and her poetry is ANYTHING but old fashioned.
But this matters not...see for yourself. She has many different pages on the net, one of them is linked here:

If by any chance you are offened or impressed by anything written by him or his co-offenders please tell him and not me. I'm sure they'd LOVE to hear from you.

JEN!

Jen is an extremely creative person whose art is a reflection of her surroundings.
I have known her to be a great painter, drawer, singer/song writer, poet, host and speech writer and all sorts of other stuff like soup making and designated driving. Also she is a very good photographer which this little pic shows:

Jen lives in the forest with her Husband.
She plays in many bands, one of which is with me called 'Venn' in which she sings, plays guitar and shakers and kazoos and other wierd shit. She is currently exhibiting collages she's made from digital images and teaching drawing classes.
Jen has been over the years publishing a magazine of sorts which features the poetry and visual art of local peoples. The Internet version is in the form of a Blog which shares the same title:

SQUID INK.

That's a link by the way. You should check it out. Simply click on the purple words or right click to open in another window.

MICK!

Mick is a free spirit who lives in the forest and likes building and carving things out of stone and surfing.
When he's not chipping and paddling he's in the garden growing all sorts of edible goodies, walking the dog or offering you a beer or just a good strong coffee.

LEA!

Lea is a great artist whom I have known for many many years.
She can work in any medium and is well known for her expressive paintings, her beautiful photos and her detailed illusrations.
She is also at the moment doing a lot of work in Henna art,
and as she has plenty of stuff out there, here is just a taste.
Enjoy.

KEV!

Kev is a real fucking legend! The kind of dude you buy a beer for...and you SHOULD, right now, off you go!
I have known Kev since back in the day and although we have never played in the same band I always end up right next to the speaker when he rips off and ear blasting solo or right up the front when someone starts throwing beer. Kev always came to our 'Metaphorthesis' gigs and we always let him get in for free and stand at the side of the stage. After all, it's not a party without Kev. Nowa days Kev lives in the big smoke and plays in a few awesome bands. The one I want you to hear is A.V.O, here is a link. Enjoy!
